Introducing the
V Series Telescope Accessories
The Vixen or “V” Series of telescope accessories was popularized by the Asian telescope manufacturers. The male dovetail bar is approximately 1.7” wide at its widest point and has a 75 degree dovetail angle. ADM Accessories offers a wide range of male dovetail bars to fit many of todays most popular Schmidt Cassegrain Telescopes as well as a variety of universal sized dovetailbars. ADM Accessories offers a wide range of female dovetail saddles to fit many of todays most popular telescope mounts. This includes; Celestron, Meade, Takahashi, Astro-Physics, SkyWatcher, Orion, iOptron, Software Bisque and more. Several accessories are offered for this dovetail mounting system.

Dovetail Bar
The V Series dovetail bar is designed to go either on the top or bottom of a telescope OTA. Mounting on the bottom of the OTA allows the telescope OTA to be attached to various telescope mounts. Mounting on the top allows for attaching additional telescope accessories like guidescopes, finderscopes, camera brackets, pole master brackets and even a telescope handle.
Dovetail Camera Mount
The V series dovetail camera mount is designed to fit any camera or lens with a 1/4×20 mount. The camera simply attaches to the camera mount which in turn slides onto the V series dovetail bar (sold separately). This is the perfect solution for mounting a camera since it allows the user to properly balance the camera and telescope OTA.
Dovetail Counterweight
V Series dovetail counterweights are designed for proper balancing of the telescope OTA. Each counterweight system comes with a 1/2x13tpi threaded post. The counterweight simply attaches to the counterweight mount which in turn slides onto the V Series Dovetail Bar (sold separately). The counterweights can be used for balancing fork mounted OTA’s or adding additional weight to an exposed dovetail bar for easier balancing of accessories.
Dovetail Ring
V Series dovetail rings are designed for adding a telescope guidescopes to an existing V Series Dovetail Bar (sold separately). The guidescope is supported by large delrin tipped thumb screws which hold the guidescope securely in place. The three point adjustable rings are attached to dovetail clamps which slide onto the V Series Dovetail Bar. This is the perfect solution for attaching a guidescope since the guidescope can be properly balanced and removed for proper transport.
Dovetail Saddle
V Series dovetail saddles are designed to replace the existing telescope mount saddle. The ADM V Series saddle is far superior the mounting saddles found on today’s mounts. The ADM V Series Saddle features spring loaded jaws, large locking hand knobs and full contact grip. All parts are machined from 6061 aluminum and have been anodized for long lasting durability.

Side-By-Side
V Series Side-By-Side systems allow you to mount two telescopes side-by-side. The V Series Side-By-Side system features two 6” V Series dovetail saddles mounted on a V Series universal dovetail bar.
