Very nice! I came to the site just looking for the curved radius blocks for a C8, but stayed to buy the whole bar and all. Everything fit perfectly and looks great. Will be getting another one for a C11 soon.

After purchasing my first computerized mount, a co worker “long term” loaned me his Celestron 8″ SCT. After de-forking, I needed a way to mount it and found ADM. All my hobbies seem to have machined aluminum, so I love nice aluminum parts and these are perfect. So nice, just bolted right up. Only thing was that the dovetail is so nice, I had to order an ADM mount adapter and saddle so I would not gouge it up. 🙂 Its just as nice. Shipping across the country in 3 days! Excellent customer support!!! More ADM parts on my list.

Well machined and good anodize finish. hardware provided, a small card explaining where the 3 difference sizes of screws should go would have been appreciated, but I am new to Astronomy.

Perfect! Modernizing my 1978 orange tube C8 so it will go on my Advanced VX mount and it fit perfectly. Beautifully machined parts and they shipped it out in a day. USPS/Canada Post took awhile but well worth the wait. The quality of these parts just shine through. (Someone gave me a Celestron V Dovetail bar that was supposed to fit their gear – no joy there.)

This is another great quality product from ADM and I highly recommend it.
The only issue I have is that I just cannot work out where and how to mount this bar on my OTA. I have been sent 4 scews in total; 1 of one size, 1 of another size, and 2 of another. Is that correct? Someone in an earlier said they had been sent a card explaining where the screws go, could I be sent one of those please? Thanks

Simon, I am sorry you are having trouble attaching the bar to the OTA. I do not include instructions, but I will explain it to you. The rear curved block attaches to the OTA using the two smallest screws (8-32’s). The longer (10-24) is used at the front end of the OTA. It will pass through the bar, through the second curved block and into the OTA. This leaves you with one screw which is used to attach the bar to the rear curved block. LMK if you have any questions.
